Upon purchasing an Ebook/Audiobook, BookFunnel sends you the codes and you have 14 days before they expire. However, you have the books forever, don't worry. You can either:  

1. Reach out to BookFunnel at help@bookfunnel.com to request new codes

2. You can go to www.bookfunnel.com/help and use your email as your login. There you will find all the books you have purchased under that email.

Great question! I believe, if word count determined the quality of a book, dictionaries would top bestsellers list every week :) 

I’m sure you’ve encountered a 300,000 word brick of a book that puts you to sleep in 6 minutes. I’m also certain that you’ve read something short, even a movie dialogue perhaps, that has stayed with you forever. (I’ll post 2 of my favourites at the end of this answer, so stay tuned 🙂

I publish shorter works because in today’s diminishing attention span world, shorter books are simply more accessible. You may never need a dictionary while reading my books. Some people don’t like that and it’s okay. Short is my thing. I love spectacular knockouts in 7 rounds rather than stretching them out to round 17, that’s just me. 

That does not mean I’m cutting corners. In fact, more often than not, I take longer, way longer to write shorter fiction than a lot of my author friends and acquaintances. You can rarely create the impact you can with fewer words than you can with more. Fewer words trust and honour the reader’s intelligence to fill in the gaps and complete the story in their own heads. 

I’m nowhere near as good as the examples coming up, but I do make the effort. Here’s a masterclass in writing short:

Example #1 comes from the movie ‘Nothing but the Truth’.

A man can live a good life, be honourable, give to charity, but in the end, the number of people who come to his funeral is generally dependent on the weather.

Example #2 is the famous 6 word story often attributed to Ernest Hemingway.
